Max Scherzer Is So Insanely Good
I mean this guy is just unfair. He’s a video game cheat code this year, and it’s been so much fun to watch. Every single game he’s on the mound is must-watch stuff because he’s going to do something special, and yesterday getting to see him work his magic live and in person was phenomenal. It was a glorious day for baseball and everything you want in a game- sunshine, 80 degrees, beers, hot dogs, and Max going 7 innings of 1 hit, 11k ball- shout out to SeatGeek!
He’s just a fucking monster. His day yesterday was: walked a man, gave up a home run (which was carried out by the wind, very unfair!), and then retired the next 20 guys he faced in dominating fashion.
Yesterday’s performance was awesome but also par for the course this year, as he did it on the heels of a complete game, 10k outing…right after a 6 inning, 10k performance. I know it’s early, but he’s clearly already the frontrunner for the Cy Young. Again.
Oh, and he extended his hitting streak to 3 games, and then found himself on 2nd when he was disrespected in a way nobody should EVER disrespect Max Scherzer

We got Strasburg going this afternoon, and then the Caps tonight. Hopefully both end in wonderful wins for Washington, lord know we need it.
